Lita Ford is ripping open the vault and sharing music no one has heard yet. Ford, a Grammynominated artist who recently accepted Guitar Player’s Lifetime Achievement Award and is one of the youngest living legends in rock ‘n’ roll, is celebrating four decades of music. She is releasing Living Like a Runaway: Lita Ford, A Memoir, documenting her journey from all-girl band The Runaways to major solo successes. Ford is also offering an audio complement in the form of Time Capsule. . This “throwback” record boasts identifiable voices and brilliant players jamming without any planning or pressure. Fronted by and Ministry’s Al Jourgensen, Surgical Meth Machine came together after the death of long-time Ministry guitarist Mikey Scaccia. Describing the Surgical Meth Machine material Jourgensen has said, “It sounds like Ministry, but it’s a different level. It’s like I literally just put my foot on the gas pedal for this record.” In addition to Surgical Meth Machine’s lightening-pace take on industrial metal, a genre Jourgensen helped create and develop, the band covers Devo’s “Gates of Steel” on its debut release Sites such as Blabbermouth, Vice and others have already been reporting on the imminent return of Jourgensen in Surgical Meth Machine. Electro‐pop artist Lights has announced Midnight Machines, an album comprised of six acoustic songs from her third studio album Little Machines , plus two brand new songs. The never‐before‐heard tracks are “Follow You Down” and “Head Cold”, and the leading single is an acoustic version of “Meteorites”. The video for the acoustic version of “Meteorites” premiered internationally on NYLON.  The video for “Meteorites” was shot entirely in reverse and was recorded in Toronto. Lights even had to sing every lyric backwards and at double speed during the filming, an undeniably impressive feat. "Midnight Machines is more than just an acoustic record, it's a complete reinvention of some of the songs from Little Machines. Multiplatinum, Grammy Award-winning rock band Deftones have announced that they will release their eagerly awaited eighth studio album, entitled GORE. The album was produced by Matt Hyde and Deftones. Along with winning the Grammy award for ‘Best Metal Performance’ in 2001, the band has also won The Revolver Golden God award for ‘Album of the Year’ in 2003, among numerous other awards and accolades globally. Says Deftones singer Chino Moreno of the album: “Out of respect for Pac, Big, Stevie, Michael, Hendrix, Gore is ONE of the greatest albums not the greatest, just one of." Deftones have released seven albums to date and have sold over 10 million albums worldwide.
