CHILDREN OF BODOM –...

Formed in Espoo, Finland in 1993, CHILDREN OF BODOM had an extraordinary start to their career. Their ‘90s take off was impressive, almost all of their albums have earned platinum or gold status in Finland and over the past twenty five years they‘ve become regulars on some of the world‘s biggest stages. 2019 beckons in a new era for a revitalized and bloodthirsty Hate Crew, who will present their 10th studio album “Hexed” on March 8th. It’s been three years since the release of “I Worship Chaos”. History tells us that having an extensive time frame to work on a project can often result in procrastination and loss of focus – but with “Hexed” the reverse has manifest in this 11 track, impressively stripped back melo-death, rock-n-roll-rampage. “Hexed” is a high-energy, up-tempo record seething with new life but also all of the Children of Bodom trademarks that millions of fans around the ...

WEEZER – WEEZER (BLACK)

Welcome to the dark side. Weezer’s forthcoming album, Weezer (The Black Album), is set to release on March 1st – an album compiled of original Weezer songs, featuring the hit “Can’t Knock The Hustle”. Weezer (The Black Album) was produced by TV On The Radio’s Dave Sitek, with whom the band worked for the first time. The songs were entirely written on piano by frontman Rivers Cuomo for the first time in Weezer history, creating some of the most satisfyingly awesome songs in the entire hits-filled Weezer catalogue. With band members switching up instruments in the studio, and choruses filtered through Sitek’s own encyclopedic musical references of everything from Gorillaz to Can to Pink Floyd, Weezer (The Black Album) is the bold next step in the winning streak of acclaimed albums they’ve released since 2014. The album includes the current hit radio single, “Can’t Knock The Hustle”, which recently became the band’s sixteenth ...

TOM PETTY – BEST OF...

This collection of personal favorites and important milestones is the first anthology to span Petty’s entire career, from the first album to Mudcrutch 2. The final track, “For Real,” is a previously unreleased song not unlike the kind of intimate letter Petty often sent to friends or associates. In an e‐mail world, he liked the look of pen on paper. It’s an appropriate grace note to close this gathering of songs, chosen by Petty’s closest band and family: Adria Petty, Dana Petty, Mike Campbell and Benmont Tench, and long time studio collaborator Ryan Ulyate. It’s a banquet, but it’s also an appetizer. For the newer fans, let it be an invitation to get lost in the bounty of albums, all of them stocked with songs for every feel or occasion, quiet and loud, reverent and foolish, always deep and true. For every “Learning to Fly,” or “Mary Jane’s Last Dance,” there’s a “Walls” or a “You Wreck Me.” Or ...
