During their performance at Red Rocks, the band rolled through 16 songs that will make the final cut for the disc, blending songs from their Immortalized album like “The Vengeful One,” “The Light” and the cover of Simon & Garfunkel’s “The Sound of Silence” with their classic hits like “Ten Thousand Fists,” “Stupify,” “Stricken,” “Indestructible” and “Down with ...

FAITH HILL – DEEP TRACKS

Country music superstar Faith Hill is in the news right now as she and husband  Tim McGraw have recently announced that they’ll embark on the Soul2Soul The World Tour next spring. The tour marks the first time that Hill has toured since 2007 and also falls on the 10th anniversary of the “Soul2Soul II” tour which was the highest-grossing multi-year country music tour of all time. As a pre-tour treat, Warner Brothers Records will release a 13-cut compilation from Hill called Deep Tracks on Nov. 18. Hill’s previous albums, Faith, Breathe, Cry and Fireflies all sold enough units to go multi-platinum, with Breathe having earned platinum status eight times over. But as the album title Deep Tracks indicates, the new collection doesn’t focus on the hits; rather it spotlights some of Hill’s personal favorites from each effort. Especially exciting for fans is the fact that Deep Tracks contains three songs, “Why,” “Come to Jesus” and “Boy,” that have never been released before.
