2019 Record Store Day BLACK FRIDAY

Posted in: Concerts & Events, News | No Comments | Posted on by Mary Anne

IT’S COMING!!!! Record Store Day BLACK FRIDAY is on November 29 and yes we will be loading up on the exclusive releases.
Keep in mind we do not take orders ahead of time for these items. That is partly because, despite ordering pretty much every title, we do not know until the deliveries come in what we are getting exactly (yes they are that limited & exclusive). Plus we have signed a pledge saying we will not take pre-orders and we take it seriously. We do however, encourage you to look at the list in the link below to get an idea of what we might be getting in and let us know what interests you.

CLICK HERE for listing of the Canadian & International releases we will be ordering from.

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 13 UPDATE… A WORD ABOUT a couple of BLACK FRIDAY TITLES…
THE WEEKND My Dear Melancholy. This title is no longer on the list, but we’re confident it will be added to another RSD or RSD Black Friday list in the future and we’ll keep you updated.
DAVE MATTHEWS BAND Live at the Hollywood Bowl Box Set - THIS IS A FAIRLY LARGE CHANGE, PLEASE READ: The title is no longer on the RSD Black Friday list. It will now be coming out on 12/6. There will no longer be a colored vinyl version (which is why it was taken off the RSD Black Friday list)

RECORD STORE DAY PODCAST - Nov. 4th UPDATE…
Last week marked the launch of the Record Store Day podcast-available wherever you get your podcasts. It’s a show where host Paul Myers (musician, writer- check out his book on Todd Rundgren) chats with folks in and out of the music world about their love of records, music and record store. The first episode includes a talk with Tony Visconti-producer of T Rex, a gazillion other projects and of course, a career-long association with David Bowie. New episodes every other Tuesday, and we would love it if you took a listen. A link to the podcast is HERE but as we said, available wherever you get your podcasts.
