The Barenaked Ladies will mark their 25th anniversary this year with the release of their 12th studio album Grinning Streak.

The recording sessions for Grinning Streak took place in March 2013 in Toronto,
where the band worked with three producers; Gavin Brown (Metric), Howie Beck
(Feist) and Mark Endert (Maroon 5, Train).

“We thought that it might be fun to split it up and work with a couple of different people, that it might give us a chance to bite the record into smaller pieces instead of going in and recording 16 or 17 songs all at once,” Ed Robertson recently told Rolling Stone magazine.

Watch for Barenaked Ladies to make a number of high profile TV and Radio appearances in Canada ahead of Grinning Streak releasing including; CITY TV - “Breakfast Television”, CBC - Q with Jian Ghomeshi, CTV - The Marilyn Dennis Show, Global Morning TV “Concert series” and CTV -Canada AM.

Week of release TV appearances in America include; Live with Kelly and Michael, The Today Show and CBS Saturday Early Show.

Barenaked Ladies will embark on their second Last Summer On Earth tour in the
summer of 2013 supported by Guster, Ben Folds Five. The tour will touch down in Toronto on July 11 at the Molson Canadian Amphitheatre.
