Fronted by and Ministry’s Al Jourgensen, Surgical Meth Machine came together after the death of long-time Ministry guitarist Mikey Scaccia.
Describing the Surgical Meth Machine material Jourgensen has said, “It sounds like Ministry, but it’s a different level. It’s like I literally just put my foot on the gas pedal for this record.”
In addition to Surgical Meth Machine’s lightening-pace take on industrial metal, a genre Jourgensen helped create and develop, the band covers Devo’s “Gates of Steel” on its debut release
