The Encore: The Piano Program is a colourful, locally decorated piano donated by the Parrotheads on the St. Clair from a Community Centre in Oil City to the Parks and Recreation Department for public, outdoor use. Last September the piano was donated to Harmony for Youth where it now resides in Bayside Mall. The public is welcome to play the piano August 2 to September 6. The Children’s Art Workshop in cooperation with the Sarnia Artist’s Workshop is being held at the Animal Farm at Canatara Park from 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM and/or 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM for children aged 5 to 8. Children will enjoy working on themed art projects featuring a variety of craft materials. Wear proper clothing and bring water and a peanut-free snack. The cost is $10 per child.
