With its crunchy guitar riffs and southern rock swagger, “Blacked Out” is powered by the slamming, summer anthem, “Lady Luck” f/Crucifix, and wraps with “Out Back,” a party anthem like none other featuring Durwood Black of Burn County, Redneck Souljers, D. Thrash of Jawga Boyz, Demun Jones, Bubba Sparxxx, Lenny Cooper, Jeff McCool of Moccasin Creek and The LACS.
Released on BackRoad Records and produced by Durwood Black and Ty Weathers, Moonshine Bandits were energized by their first-ever collaborations with Nashville songwriters on the new album including Ira Dean (formerly of Trick Pony).
Named one of Billboard Magazine’s Top Country Artists on the “Heatseekers Album” chart, Moonshine Bandits have been winning over fans from every genre of music for more than a decade. Described as a “Twist of Johnny Cash meets Beastie Boys,” the band blends southern rock and outlaw country to the delight of their widespread, loyal fan base known as the “Shiner Nation.” Connecting with fans on all levels, the Moonshine Bandits developed their own brand of Shiner Barbeque Seasoning, Beef Jerky and legal Moonshine (sold up and down the west coast).
Moonshine Bandits have over 15 million YouTube views, a fan favorite video on CMT that hit #1 and tours continually having played over 1,000 shows. Supporting the new album, Moonshine Bandits kicked off the second leg of their “Rebels on the Run” headlining tour May 1st.<P.
