Pirates Invade Sarnia!
Clever Thomas and The Pirate Queen
Be on the look-out! Pirates are on the loose and ready to hit the boards Friday, Nov. 30th and Saturday, Dec. 1st at the Library Theatre in Sarnia. The general public is advised to be wary, and not to be fooled by unwashed pirates posing as sweet, innocent children.
“They may look like the average grade five, or six elementary school student, or even your neighbours’ kids, but they’re ruthless, conniving, rude pirates,” says LYTP Artistic Director, Nancy Keys. “And whatever you do, don’t give them candy - it makes them crazy.”
A delightful comic romp full of silly pirate shenanigans, CLEVER THOMAS AND THE PIRATE QUEEN is the story of a young boy who longs for a life of adventure on the high seas. By chance, he meets up with Black-Eyed Bess, the Pirate Queen, and her rival, Captain Calico Jack, as they attempt to outwit Sir William of Hargreave who is determined to capture them both.
