Auditions for the Lambton Young Theatre Players’ fourth main stage production, THE LAST WISH OF THE LOST PRINCE, by Bethany Lawrence, will take place Sept. 23rd, 24th, and 25th at the LYPT studio in Petrolia. Young actors and actresses between the ages of 10 and 18 years are invited to audition for this performance training program.
Directed by Nancy Keys, THE LAST WISH OF THE LOST PRINCE is the delightful story of three children who find themselves in the magic kingdom of Avalon on a quest to find the long lost prince and bring Christmas wishes back to the world.
20 roles will be cast, and rehearsals take place in Petrolia at Lambton Central Collegiate Vocational Institute (LCCVI) Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Performance dates at the Library Theatre in Sarnia are Dec. 16th through Dec. 21st.
Registration fee for cast members is $150.00
Fall drama classes are now being offered for kids between the ages of 12 and 16 years of age. Classes will take place on Monday evenings from 6:00 – 8:00 PM in Petrolia. Basic acting skills, voice, movement, and character work will be taught by Nancy Keys, member of Canadian Actors’ Equity Association, assisted by Bethany Lawrence. The cost to attend this 7 week program is $150.00.
