The 2012 Grammy Nominees album will feature artists from the main categories.

This year’s top nominee was Kanye West who earned 7 nominations, the most of any artist.

Other artists with a strong showing include Lil Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, and The Band Perry

Five Canadian artists garnered Nine Grammy nominations in several prestigious categories. Among the five artists were Drake, Melanie Fiona and Sum 41.

The awards will be held on Sunday, February 12th at  the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
