The International Symphony Orchestra is currently inviting auditions from musicians
in our bridged communities interested in being part of the orchestra’s 2018-2019 Season,
A “Sound” Investment
String players are strongly encouraged to come forward, however, there are some opportunities in the wind, brass, and percussion sections of the orchestra.
The first rehearsal is scheduled for Tuesday, October 2nd, 7:30 p.m., in Room 60 of the Fine Arts Building, St. Clair County Community College, 323 Erie Street, Port Huron.
The International Symphony Orchestra is currently preparing for its Sixty-First Season of high-quality performances, taking place in both Lambton and St. Clair counties. This year the orchestra will again present a total of twelve Series concerts – embracing a wide range of musical genres, including: masterworks; light classics; sacred; oratorio; Celtic; family friendly, and pops. An exciting line-up of special guest artists and vibrant repertoire have been selected for diverse audience appeal.
The International Symphony Orchestra will also be presenting two youth education concerts at McMorran Auditorium, in addition to other special community events, including the “Music Makes Sound Sense” in-school initiative.
