Dido is back with her first new album in five years, the stunning STILL ON MY MIND out March 8th on BMG. She will undertake a 16 date European tour beginning in Prague May 5th and finishing at London’s Roundhouse May 30th before touring North America in June.
These will be her first live dates in 15 years and promise to be one of the highlights of the year. Showcasing songs from her incredible back catalogue as well as new tracks that easily rank alongside her best work. These live shows are not to be missed.
The first taste of this epic new album is the glorious “Hurricanes.” From the very first notes of this powerful track, her voice has never sounded bigger and better, making you realize how much we’ve missed that sound.
STILL ON MY MIND is Dido’s 5th studio album and follows the 2013 release of the acclaimed “Girl Who Got Away.” The new 12 track album was written and recorded in England with her brother and longtime collaborator, Rollo Armstrong alongside a few additional co-writers such as Rick Nowles (White Flag), Dee Adams and Ryan Louder.
“Dido describes the making of this album as, ‘an absolutely magical experience.’ She says: ‘I wanted to capture the feeling I still get from listening to good music, just that rush, like you don’t need anything more than this.”
