Friends and family of Travis Sitter, who passed away recently in a tragic car accident, gathered together at Cheeky Monkey to celebrate his life in music on Tuesday Sept. 13. The 3 piece band was a revolving door of friends jamming together. While Kurtis Nelson, Ian Alexander and Mark Tetreault played, Cheeky Charlie sat in on drums – literally! Also on this day is the release of ORANGE FURY. A CD of Travis’ music. The sale of it includes a 2nd CD of Princess, Travis’s work he recorded at Sprowt Studios when it was located in lower level of Cheeky Monkey. All the money rasied from the sale is being donated to Travis’ family.
Thanks to the Cheeky Monkey for hosting the Orange Fury CD release party. Travis would have been so pleased. I am so happy to see that he had so many good friends. I will treasure his last CD forever. I and many others will miss him forever.
