CHRIS DUARTE – BLUES IN...

Chris Duarte emerged from the Austin Texas scene in the early 90's and quickly garnered noteriety for filling clubs all over the state. In the wake of Stevie Ray Vaughan's passing, Duarte gained a reputation as  a young man that played in the style of the late guitarist. Over the years, he has honed his skills as both a musician and songwriter while releasing a string of critically acclaimed and commercially successful albums. The recordings showcased many sides of this brilliant artist in the context of high energy blues and bring to mind elements of several legendary blues-men including Robin Trower, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Johnson as well as Stevie Ray. Blues In The Afterburner continues in the blues tradition while incorporating generous doses of heavy psychedelia along with Duarte's signature guitar work.

DARKTHRONE – RAVISHING...

THE 7th STUDIO ALBUM FROM THE NORWEGIAN BLACK METAL LEGENDS – NOW ON PEACEVILLE WITH BONUS COMMENTARY DISC Darkthrone began in the late 80’s as a thrash/death metal act & progressed through technical death/doom metal experimentation to become legends of the black metal world & one of the original leading bands of the Norwegian scene. ‘Ravishing Grimness’ was Darkthrone’s seventh studio album, originally released in 1999. Most of the tracks on ‘Ravishing Grimness’ were this time written by Nocturno Culto, as well as guest lyrics on The Beast appearing courtesy of Aldrahn & Fog (Dødheimsgard). This edition of ‘Ravishing Grimness’ includes new cover artwork  selected by the band, as well as an extra disc ...

SANDY DENNY – 19 RUPERT...

Previously unheard material recorded on a quarter track tape machine at Alex Campbell’s home on August 5th 1967, captured just one month after Sandy recorded All Our Own Work. Unknown to exist for decades until a cassette turned up recently, Strawbs’ Dave Cousins took it to have transferred to digital at Abbey Road, and was stunned to hear Sandy and Alex singing, laughing and joking as though they were in the room with him. Edited down and mastered, it’s a home recording, but what atmosphere! This recording shows Sandy as she was when I first met her – bright and funny, with a voice that could pin your ears back or melt your heart. I’m so pleased to be able share this with you. - Dave Cousins/ Strawbs “...A haunting recording, capturing Sandy’s voice pre-fame as she relaxes in a flat in Glasgow with Alex and Patsy Campbell and friends....similar to the ...
