Multi-platinum recording artists Big Wreck have announced details for the release of the sixth studio album, …but for the sun. Recorded in Toronto and produced by JUNO Award winner Eric Ratz and Big Wreck’s Ian Thornley, the new album will be released in all formats on Friday, August 30th, 2019.

Thornley describes the album as a “no bullshit return to loud rock and roll.” That description comes as no surprise to fans as the album’s first single, the Top 5 Rock Radio hit “Locomotive” set the stage for what’s to come. Fans got their second taste of the album last month with the surprise release of the hard-rocking “Too Far Gone.” Just recently added to the mix, the band gave fans another taste of the new album with the release of “One More Chance.”

In addition to the album announcement, Big Wreck have revealed the dates for the Canadian leg of their …but for the sun 2019 tour. The new dates follow the band’s 21-date tour dates in the U.S.
