The International Symphony Singers under the direction of Dr. David Troiano, will begin preparation for another outstanding season of song, starting Monday, September 26th, 7:30 p.m. in St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Sarnia. New voices are encouraged to come out and take part in this fine chorus which performs several times each season with the International Symphony Orchestra. Sopranos and tenors are most needed, but all placings are welcome.
Rehearsals alternate between St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Sarnia, and St. Clair County Community College in Port Huron, MI.
During 2016/2017 Season, “Music of the Spheres”, the ensemble will be heard in works including: Handel’s THE MESSIAH; the première of FANTASIA by Canadian composer Ronald Royer; Schubert’s grand masterpiece, MIRIAM’S SONG OF TRIUMPH, which will feature internationally acclaimed soprano, Emily Douglass; plus several other audience-pleasing choral selections.
